Every once in awhile Ill be sitting at home when I hear this scrapping banging noise. Every time I hear it my first thought is that someone is trying to break in my window. It always turns out to be one of my two small dogs trying to eat a fly. They will chase flies all over my house snapping at them like crocodiles then when the fly goes to the window my guys run face first into the window. This will be followed with lots of jumping and face smooshing into the window. I have 4 windows with dog slober spots smeared across them because of 1 fly. I could make my boys stop but they get so into their fly catching because it fufills some primal hunting urge. Plus I don’t own a fly swatter.

There a very few alcoholic drinks that I love more than a good dirty martini. If it is made with Titos vodka, just a rinse of vermooth, then a decent amount of olive brine with 3 olives in a chilled glass then it is a little vacation in a glass. Mmmm I want one now.
So, as much as I am really pro-single-ladies, most of the time, other times — like right now — things like this make me feel kind of sad.
